she laid down on her pillow wondering how to trust
laid there, her tears were falling down her face
while the cold and hard wind shook her hair, but
ultimately, her mind , trying not to over think
a small argument, into the end of her day.
her skin will always remember the mistreatment
her eyes will always recall the cold hard wind
this will only be, one more scar for her...
one of those white lines remembering us to never forget
those dark times she was going through, were nothing
from this point on, she rather think of them, as memories
way beyond will be the reasoning behind them
as it toke two days for her to see, everything was on place
and at night, with that unspoken fear...
she claims to forget what she never should of have to...
oh if that tinny pillow would talk...
or if those tears were dimes...
or perhaps, if those calls were lesser days to leave
uncertainty was playing against her
though she fought with the power she knew
days are hotter now, however to her, the sun
was only shining for her to change something
something she wasn't even sure she had on the first place.
probably she would start reading the same old book again
or maybe this time, she needs something even more tortuous
and even in that case, she knew it wouldn't help
but is one of the only places where she can be
tormented on the inside out, and not the other way around.
she looked up, saw that little stripe of sky above her
it was still a mild afternoon, and she followed the moon,
smiling at her, knowing everything she longs to know...
with that unimaginable power, moving the leaves in
the house tree... moving the world she wants to stop.
